Hands up who lives in the general vicinity of Basingstoke? You lucky people can come to see me and the brilliant Antonia Honeywell talking about books and life and stuff on the 24th June at 6pm as part of the Basingstoke Festival. Not only is Antonia the author of the highly acclaimed dystopian novel The Ship, but she also set up the Prime Writers – a collective of authors who all debuted over the age of forty – of which I am a member. AND she is a tip top singer and all-round good egg. So do pop by if you can.
